ANDREAS’ GYM

Andreas Stylianou

The exhibition draws on the visual language of Pokémon and childhood nostalgia, transforming familiar characters and objects into sculptural and painterly forms.

Stylianou’s work moves between drawing, sculpture and installation, reinterpreting the iconography of popular culture through handmade processes and tactile materials.

Ceramic forms, pastel drawings and graph-paper studies operate together like a personal archive of imagined creatures and objects, echoing the logic of collections, games and childhood systems of classification.
