Valhalla
Harry Hugo Little & Fjorsk
Shipton is delighted to present ‘Valhalla’; a duo show featuring work by Harry Hugo Little & Fjorsk. This exhibition invites visitors to reflect on their personal quests for honour and glory.
Central to the exhibition is the symbolism of the doe. This imagery encapsulates the concepts of sacrifice and the predator-prey dynamic, reflecting the tension between vulnerability and strength.
The doe, often seen as a gentle and vulnerable creature, also embodies resilience and survival. This duality mirrors the journey to Valhalla, where the path to glory is fraught with challenges that requires both inner strength and sacrifice.
The exhibition challenges visitors to consider their own lives in this context. Are they living in a way that pursues honor and glory? What sacrifices are they willing to make?
By contemplating these questions, viewers engage with the timeless narrative of the hero’s journey and the pursuit of a meaningful, honourable life.
