Thresholds of Flesh
Thresholds of Flesh represents a personal and introspective exploration of the liminal spaces between the internal and external aspects of the body. The artist’s multi-disciplinary practice evokes a sense of disembodiment and dissects each objectified part in order to understand the whole.
By abandoning traditional theories of anatomy, Wynne’s careful dissection of her own internal bodily sensations has manifest in work that draws connections between the known and unknown, the material and immaterial, the form and the formless.
